1.	Risks. Your shops are not ensured against terrorists in Russia after September 11. It?s no use to recon upon at least 10 percent per month, while you run the risk to lose 100 percent every day. That is why you should not stuff the warehouses, but order that exact quantity of the goods, that you and your clients need.
2.	It is very difficult to add features and to rework big, sophisticated systems AFTER they were created and started up (the whole system ? your portal ? will be hanging). That is why I tried to involve the maximum of ?commercial opportunities? in it and to make it full-scale to the limit.
3.	The system was specially developed for the businessmen and for the management of the company. That?s why the structure of the system should be close the real Russian market, including the stuff of participants, the language of various texts (such as hints or instructions) and known commercial abbreviations. It is called ?consumer properties of a good?. It is the only way for the businessmen at start-up level of the Internet to work with your portal easily.
4.	Actually, the System is an ?Internet-community? (or Internet-state) for a big sales company. The community consists of your retail shops, your wholesale consumers, your suppliers, your retail consumers and your competitors.
All of them are supposed to be able to BUY as well as to SELL their goods (accept the suppliers, who are allowed to sell only, and accept the retail consumers, who can buy only).
In order to process (to filter) the information faster, the users are registered in the System as members of different ?user groups?.
The businessmen and administrator from your central office are registered separately ? they obtain special rights as well.
5.	While registering in the System, every user gets two passwords. The first one is for managing HIS ?PRICELIST? and the second one is for managing HIS ?ORDER for the GOOD?. He can edit his orders and pricelists anytime under his password (accept the suppliers and retail consumers who have pricelist and order accordingly). Our ?pricelists? and ?orders for goods? are of SINGLE TYPE. They consist of ?model titles?, 6 ?prices? (?retail? minimum and maximum, large ?volume? (min and max) prices and small ?volume? (min and max) prices), ?quantity?, ?date of delivery? for the pricelist (?preferred date of delivery? (the date when you need to receive a good) for the goods order) and service columns (?hide a line?, ?delete a line? etc.) A single and very simple, comprehensive type is absolutely necessary for having ability to COMPARE ASSORTMENT of various ?pricelists? and ?orders?, which is needed very much by business. So you can visit our special web-page and choose (BY NAME) there any shop, bulk store, your supplier?s warehouse or your competitor?s storehouse, you are interested in. And when 0.1 second after you?ve pressed the button passes, the system will collect from the chosen pricelist and show only the models that are present in your ?order?. More so, you can choose from the same web-page (BY NAME) up to 10 different ?warehouses?. And after you press one button, the system will filter information and after 0.1 second it will return the models from the chosen pricelists that are present in you ?order?. Taking into consideration that ?orders? and ?pricelists? may contain hundreds or even thousands of items, we see that the ability of holding fast assortment comparison of ?pricelists? and ?orders? lets decrease the system loading hundreds times. The efficiency of the system cannot be overvalued. You shops (or wholesale clients) are provided by opportunity to ?investigate? your stores very fast, ON-LINE and BY THEMSELVES (of course, if they have rights to do so), to choose necessary goods and to order them immediately. Furthermore, the system lets your businessmen process ?orders? from your clients hundred times faster and more efficient. So, you will need fewer businessmen, who will be working much more efficiently.
6.	It is also very important that it is almost impossible to make mistake while managing ?pricelists? and ?orders?, due to many instructions and hints that point at the mistakes (for example, wrong type, or some model?s minimum price occurred to be put bigger than its maximum price etc.). There is also a very important fact, that your client can choose models for the ?order? out of whole database. He can choose models, which are not yet included in his ?pricelist?. So, the client?s ?order? can be much bigger than his ?pricelist?.
7.	There is also a term ?goods basket?, which is used for transferring goods from one warehouse to another.
8.	What actually happens ? is that every user obtains his genuine e-shop ? an e-shop with unique possibilities. You can use fast geographical search. The system is already equipped with list of states and towns (you can add or edit ones). Moscow and Petersburg are provided with ?metro? stations and ?markets?. While registering new users you have to specify his location (choose it from a list) at the level of TOWN, METRO or a MARKET.
9. It is necessary to provide every client with ability to receive the MINIMUM quantity of the most needed information FAST and EASILY. That is why; the system is plentifully stuffed with MANY CLEAR ?COMMERCIAL FILTERS?. Filters are: ?date/time of delivery?, ?geographical position of a warehouse?, ?customs?, ?type of registry in a system? (a shop, a wholesale customer, a competitor etc.), ?pricelists? or ?orders?, ?retail price?, ?wholesale price?, ?quantity?, ?brand?, ?model title?, ?consumer properties of a good? (color, size, weight, kind (narrow, vertical etc.)). All the filters should be precise and clear for businessmen. They should be of single type and be working on different pages of the portal. Smart allocation of the filters will decrease real loading of your portal hundred times. So, each of your clients (you have hundreds or thousands of them) will need to make much less quantity of ?clicks?. It will help your businessmen to work more efficiently. As a result ? you will need less quantity of them.
It is also very important, that a businessman could have ability of visual comparison of goods parameters (?prices? for example) on different conditions (different geographical zones for example). For instance, you have to make decision about transferring goods from Hamburg to Vladivostok. First, you need to compare the prices. So, you should set the filter to choose models from different ?geographical zones? ? That?s how same models from different geographical zones will appear on one page. Further, you can filter the information on and on. This is a very easy and obvious opportunity. And it is able to simplify and fasten any of your analytics, which will fasten the process of making prospective commercial decisions. And of course, it will decrease the loading of the system. There is no commerce when there is no comparison.
10.	Besides, we?ve got a unique and comprehensive scheme of handling FILIATIONS. For example, one of your wholesale consumers in Vladivostok has brought up real filiations (sellers) in Nahodka and Khabarovsk. He himself can easily register them in you system and transfer some goods from your assortment to them. These will be genuine shops, which will be able to make ?orders? (they will also obtain 2 passwords after registration). But what if your shop ? a wholesale consumer in Vladivostok ? is going to buy goods from Vladivostok, Moscow, Hamburg and Kotka? (Depends on BETTER terms and prices.) Very easy: the client registers 4 (or any other quantity) of its filiations-buyers (4 ?orders?, registered in different places), then he fills in the needed models, prices, quantity and date of expected delivery.
Furthermore, if you (the central office) would like to know, what all of the users, registered in the system, need in Hamburg, you choose (filters) ?orders? and ?Hamburg? and press one button. Them you find more specific filters ? brand, price, user etc.
If you want to know, what your users sell in Hamburg, you choose (filters) ?pricelist? and ?Hamburg? and press the button. Further on more specific filtration is also available. So, the client can organize (according to the restrictions provided by you) ?chains of e-shops and e-warehouses?. It is comprehensive and demonstrable for you and for him.
11.	Your ?pricelist? contains the column ?date of delivery?. So, your ?order? has a column ?preferred date of delivery? (the date when you need to receive a good). If the column is empty, it is considered that the good is in the warehouse (or the good is needed now). You may also keep two or more records with the same model but different dates of delivery. They will be placed one position below the other as if these models are different. If you happen to input two equal dates of delivery for the same two models, you will get warned about possible mistake. The same will happen in case any other mistake in the way of filling ?pricelist? occurs. Special filter will allow you to set desirable time period. And the system will pick out of pricelists models, which date of delivery is out of that period.
12. Same happens to the ?order?, but ?date of delivery? is called ?preferred date of delivery? (the date when you need the good). You can also keep two or more same models but with different ?preferred date of delivery?. If you happen to input two equal ?preferred dates of delivery? for the same models, you will get warned about possible mistake. The same will happen in case any other mistake in the way of filling ?order? occurs. Special filter will allow you to set desirable time period. And the system will pick out of ?orders? models, which date of delivery is out of that period. (So you see that the ?pricelist? varies little with an ?order?. The actual difference is title.)
13. Every system should have ?user interface? (to be used by outer users) and should have ?service interface? (to be used for system administration). Despite user?s access will be restricted for that (administrators only will be allowed), I tried to make its work clear and transparent for businessmen and for management. The ?Service interface? contains entitled ?buttons?, so that everybody could understand. The ?buttons? manage service pages. Their design is also very easy and clear to any businessman. This is made for purpose ? in order to be independent from programmers and administrators and in order to let the management control their work with our system. Titles of ?service buttons? are: ?customize classifier?, ?customize characteristics? {consumer properties}, ?import pricelists?, ?manage users?, ?manage models?, ?customize producers (brand)?, ?view statistics?. This is quite enough to manage a web-site. If any other technical features are needed ? they can be easily added to the existing list.
14. Russian ?secondary market? is highly developed. It is to be considered and is to be used. We call them ?competitors?. They have large pricelists; all of them are of different type (Each of them uses its own ?goods classifier?). You cannot use or process these documents, while they are not converted, because all of them are of different type. That?s why an additional special program of correspondence of your pricelist?s classifier with your competitor?s one is to be developed for each competitor in our system. You need several seconds more to transfer their pricelist to your system of a suitable type. Further on, you will be spending couple of seconds to renew it. After you received the pricelist, you can manage it as if it is your pricelist, or any other pricelist of correct type. You can filter it or compare assortment (for 0.1 second) with your ?pricelist? or your ?order? etc.
So, you can, for example, choose 10 most interesting competitors and the system will spend 0.1 second and will return models, which are in your ?order?. This is very important and made in order to prevent you clients from buying the good, you don?t possess by the very moment, from you competitor. So, you can urgently order the missing good to your competitor (for your shops or your clients).
Besides, your prices shouldn?t differ much from the prices for similar products of your competitors. Only our system provides you with opportunity to control this ratio. It is quite enough to superpose the assortment of your pricelist on, for instance, 10 pricelists of your major competitors. The system will need 0.1 second to filter the information and will pick out of competitors? pricelists only models, which are in your pricelist also. Of course, same models in the report will be placed together (with all the parameters such as price, quantity etc). Further on, you may filter the report by these parameters.
Commercial risks are also estimated the same way ? at the level of most close interaction with real market and are minimized.
15. Certainly, the system was created so that the access to information was restricted to users, who were not supposed to acquire this information. It is restricted by passwords and not only by them. For example, your retail and wholesale consumers should never have access to your competitors. Retail and wholesale customers shouldn?t also see the information concerning your suppliers. Retail customers should see your shops only. Wholesale ones should have access to your bulk warehouses and retail shops etc. So, any of such restrictions are available (as well as restrictions upon the region ? the clients are allowed to see information, concerning their region only etc. Any of such restrictions may be set up.)
16.	Commercial risks are decreased when, for example, you process your ?orders? from the shops in Vladivostok and you know not only the kind and the quantity of goods, you need today, but you know AT WHAT PRICE you need it. You also know what goods and at what price you will need in a week (2 weeks, a month, 2 months etc) straight from the tin. This is the most precise forecast for delivery of goods, best attached to real local commercial conditions. One more important thing is that if these commercial conditions eventually start to change, you will see it immediately and will be able to CORRECT the delivery of goods to your shops and clients REAL-TIME, FAST and BEST-WAY. You shouldn?t fill the warehouses with illiquid products and stuff your clients with unneeded goods.
17.	By the way, due to the ability of your clients to investigate the assortment of your warehouses real-time (of course, if they are allowed to do so), your clients may correct their ?orders? themselves, and they may replace temporary missing in your warehouse goods with similar ones (by demand), which are in the store now. It is very important for business and nobody but them can do it.
18.	Taking into account that your usual e-mail may get viruses (receive them from outside), we?ve developed our inner corporate e-mail, with is not so functional, but without viruses. It is fast and easy.
19. Very important thing: EVERY working page of the system contains instruction (HELP) about how you should work with it. The upper menu will also show you the instruction and descriptions of the system. The ?site-map? (upper menu) is very demonstrative. It explains the working of the system step-by-step starting from registration.
20.	The system is compatible with any of ?bookkeeping? or ?corporate? system. For being started, our system needs to import the list of your shops from your corporate system (is needed only once). Pricelists are attached to cash registers and are managed the same way as in your corporate system. If you like the way and frequency, pricelists in your corporate system are renewed at ? you may do the same in our system. (By default our system renews pricelists automatically real-time according sales and transfers of the goods.)
21. Of course, we?ve developed opportunity to duplicate some most important things. In particular, if a client, for some reasons, cannot fill his ?order?, the ?order? will be created automatically, according to the ?sales analysis?.
22.	The ?Data Base? of the system is based on ?Oracle?. The design is coded in HTML. Actually, the system can be easily tuned into other similar programming languages. System opportunities and program interface will stay the same.
23. The system has already been tested for 1000 (one thousand) of your filiations of total assortment of 1 million positions (specially generated for that). One of not very powerful server stations was used (Dual-Processor Pentium 4), bought 2 years ago for 10 thousand USD. Evidently, the upgrade of hardware will increase the power of the system much.
24.	The system had been working in Internet as a portal for different companies for 6 months. It still contains real (but outdated already) pricelists and ?orders? of known companies. All the businessmen and management of companies, who were demonstrated the system, noted the high level of it.
25.	Full demonstration of the system (your ?Internet-state?) and its opportunities requires 3-5 hours. Brief demonstration will take 1 hour. The system can be demonstrated to any general manager or businessman, who knows Internet at the level of e-mail.
26. The system requires 2-6 ordinary programmers, who may support it simultaneously (due to simple user and service program interfaces).
27.	There were made hundreds of iterations of the system design, kindly advised by respectful businessmen.
28.	Corporate systems (?bookkeeping systems?) like ?Sap?, ?Oracle?, ?Columbus? (Microsoft) and others were created in 1980-ties. They have much been outdated morally by now. There were no Internet, no powerful computers then. The sales analysis was the only possible way to forecast, what your clients need. But now this forecast is not correct. Market overtrading, different kind of bargainsales and frequent ?car lotteries? (which happens world-wide nowadays) make sales analysis unsuitable for any forecast because it will lead to stuffing of your warehouses with illiquid goods. This position is evident for any businessman, but not for a programmer. Programmers can code under your management or your requirement specification. They cannot create anything themselves, including ordinary e-shop. They copy everything from everywhere. You will see it if you deprive them from Internet and offer to pop down their ideas about the market on paper (They do not know anything). That?s why all the e-shops are similar. Bookkeeping systems are similar as well, because they are also copied ? one from another. Unfortunately, the programmers cannot develop them or chain them to contemporary reality. Furthermore, you are advised a fully raw product, which is to be rebuilt under your needs by a couple of ?commercially unlettered programmers? instead of complete system ? full-functional working ?internet-state?, which is to be little bit adjusted for you (such as our system). Of course, no use to expect any good results from ?bookkeeping systems? like that. The official statistics proves only 10 percent of such systems work properly (Please see article ?Glance and Misery of IT+? http://russian.pavel.ubicon.ru/?p=24#more-24 )
Believe it or not (you may always check it out), but all the programmers are ?COMMECIALLY UNLETTERED?, including your programmers, the programmers of “Sap”, “Oracle”, “Columbus”(Microsoft) and even my programmers. ?Bookkeeping? (?document management?, ?personnel?, ?accounting? etc.) is very simple and is clear even to ?commercially unlettered programmers?. That?s why plenty of companies promote identical bookkeeping systems (they copy them one from another).
Despite the advertisement and promises, they have nothing in common with real ?commerce?. Their ?fake commerce? is based on ?sales analysis?, which is a part of ?bookkeeping? rather then ?commerce?. But ?commercially unlettered programmers? cannot ?produce? (or copy) anything more sophisticated than ?bookkeeping? and ?sales analysis?. By the way, copying should be smart also ? you should copy only new and best (?old stuff? is copied usually). The commercial management should control this process also.

Respectfully, Pavel Karpov (general director and the developer of http://www.technobazar.ru/ ) (tel. 985 766 67 87)
Please visit http://pavel.ubicon.ru/ for more detailed description of my system.

P.S. That is how ?Sap-R3? system was reported by former chief business manager of ?Eldorado?. The system has a very complicated program interface. It is impossible to teach the ?regions? to work with it. Probably, it was being improved by so many people that most have already forgotten, what they were improving? (Same problems are faced with by other similar ?bookkeeping systems?.)

After ?Technosila? started ?Axapta? up, the system didn?t have a single filter. By now, even this easy ?bookkeeping system? has become very much overloaded.
?Columbus? threw the blame on incorrect specifications requirement. Such way of behavior is usual for them. The client appears to be wrong always. Who wrote the specifications requirement (????). Wholly incompetent programmers, who have washed out in time, did it. They forgot to ask the businessmen about what they need. Same happens at start up of similar ?bookkeeping? systems in other companies. Systems are still overloaded.

The Corporate Systems like ?Axapta? or ?Sap? were developed in the late 70-ties and 80-ties when there was no Internet at all, there were no special programming languages (like Oracle), nor cheap and fat servers. Your clients and shops could at best FAX their orders and applications (and other information) to you. Then dozens of “gals” had to type them (with a great number of mistakes and too slowly) into your corporate system format and upload them to a very expensive and a very weak server (as compared with the current ones) that was in your head office.
Surely, in that case the best solution was to MAXIMALLY CONCENTRATE all your “brains” in your head office; and SALES ANALYSIS was the only and the best tool (for that time) to “account the ending inventories” and to “restock”. It was a very rough instrument. It had a lot of drawbacks. Particularly it could not account for sales of unmarketable inventories (and you had to procure them again). Moreover, it could not show your demand for TODAY (in real time) but just an “AVERAGED” demand (FORECAST) for SOME MONTHS AHEAD. It meant that you had to stuff your warehouses for some months ahead and get the MAXIMUM of all potential RISKS (terrorist attacks, weather, local commercial conditions, etc.)
Then, of course if you let ALL your shops SUBMIT VERY SIMPLE PRODUCT ORDERS and EDIT THEM AT ANY TIME (and in a very simple way too) subject to changing REGIONAL, weather or other commercial conditions, it will be your MOST EXACT REAL-TIME demand (for today, tomorrow, next month, next year, etc.). It will be much more accurate than any “sales analysis”. Because none but your shops know what things are “UNMARKETABLE AND DISPOSABLE” and they will not enter them in their orders.
However in 1970-1980-ties, the actual technical capabilities (unavailability of Internet, servers, etc.) could not ensure prompt collection and processing of “orders” from shops and clients and that time the optimal (and easy-to-implement) restocking tool was just the “sales analysis”. It was CRUDE and HAZARDOUS but the only available (that time).
Unfortunately even by now, the systems like ?Sap? and ?Axapta? actually could not modify their “brains” and offer companies the products based only on the sales analysis. In the Russian market, this mode of operation is very “crude” and “hazardous” (plus terroristic threat occurred).
But now, when THERE IS INTERNET, plus cheap and fat servers, plus special and fast languages (Oracle, etc.) why then all these things are unavailable for the shops and clients to submit and edit their PRODUCT ORDERS in real time and thus to update the warehouse?
My corporate system already operates (and very fast) based on the product orders from your shops and clients. This is the only way to get the ACTUAL and THE MOST EXACT DEMAND from your shops and clients (today, tomorrow, next month, next year, etc.) And this is the only way to MINIMIZE all your RISKS. I use “sales analysis” as an additional protection (a basic order that can be edited by your branches and clients in real time).
I worked a year in Tekhnosila Company and that was just the time they tried to launch ?Axapta? for themselves. NEVER ROB A BLIND!!! I mean, the smartest management got absolutely blind (what concerns software and virtual issues). They hired the most incapable administration (including real swindlers like O. Barinov) that “used to program something” and agreed to hold the bag for a while but buzzed away in time. Their “corporate system” somehow turned very inconvenient and off-speed. ?Axapta? sent their (very proficient) specialists that should have improved that but evidently used to never do anything like that. Thank God, Tekhnosila management failed to clearly express what they wanted and therefore, these guys are still improving that (Axapta). Of course, it was the fault of Tekhnosila that provided a bungling “specification”.
I mean, that Tekhnosila management (through its incompetence) wanted to launch something FAST for any money and further IMPROVE that principally ? and that was the thing Columbus Company (Axapta) promised to them. However, they forgot to mention that no principal changes (like adding new orders from the shops) can be made to ?Axapta? or ?Sap?: everything will buzz. Any programmer can confirm it and TO CREATE A NEW SYSTEM WILL BE MUCH SIMPLER (and that is what I did).
?Sap? system does not differ fundamentally from ?Axapta?: the same “sales analysis” plus “incomprehensible and complicated interface”. “It was improved by so many and so different guys that now none can remember where exactly it was improved. To train a regional dealer to work with that is impossible (a feedback from a former ?Eldorado? employee).
Unfortunately, a great deal of managers from large Russian companies does remain BLIND (in software & virtual issues) and has to make the same mistake. Unfortunately there is no any independent and professional company to consult them.
My system is designed to maintain operations of your (and other) wholesale and retail branches in real time. It can cover up to thousand (1000) branches and the product range can include one million items (and more). Each branch and client gets its own ?price list? and ?product order? that they can edit in a real-time mode (its format is very simple and comprehensible). There is a unique system to ensure a prompt real-time analysis of price lists and orders for both your office and your branches (warehouse analysis). There is a unique system to ensure a prompt ITEMIZED comparison of your price lists and orders. There is a unique search engine to ensure a prompt filtering of the most useful information for your office, branches and clients (including analysis of your competitors’ price lists), there is a virus-free internal mail, etc. I created that specifically for businessmen and used the language they understand. I mean that I developed a fully complete commercial “internet state” (corporate system). Programmers are just translators, they cannot create a system. To develop a similar system requires a great experience, education and God’s blessing (I guess I got it). Of course, I have brilliant programmers (Oracle, etc.). The site contains hundreds of instructions I wrote specifically for businessmen. Neither ?Columbus? (Axapta) nor ?Sap? have specialists that can develop a similar system.
ALL businessmen, managers and programmers that saw my system were delighted (80 working pages with unique opportunities stated in a format simple and understandable by the businessmen).

We?d like to present the brand-new Commercial Corporate System, which possesses the truly unique opportunities. It was developed based on software “Oracle” and is intended for a wide range of consumers. It could be large- or mid-size companies, which are either the wholesale or retail ones (including the brand manufacturers). It also could be the companies with the various assortments of goods and a large number of branches and/or wholesale clients (up to 1000) located in any city or even town of Russia.

About ?old? available Corporate Systems

There are different corporate systems available such as those offered by Microsoft Corporation (?Axapta? or ?SAP”), which take into account only companies with narrow assortment. Their main problem is that they allow only ?manual and by model language of the contacts? among the consumers. That is, if any of your branches wants to test the availability of 100 positions needed, it has to select each model separately (”manually and by model”) at your basic warehouse where there are over 10,000 positions available. Thus many hours are spent and hundreds of unnecessary clicks are done. At the same time, the concept of real time is lost; the assortment of a warehouse is changing every minute. And if you have hundred of clients than your system will be always overloaded.

Besides, it is necessary to take into account that these Corporate Systems are written by the programmers who don?t understand the peculiar properties of your market, your commerce, and your goods. That?s why it is very difficult for businessmen to work with such programs without a help of ?programmer-interpreter?. Therefore such systems are limited by the work of “central office”, and it is almost impossible to teach your clients or your branches how to work with the old Corporate Systems. It is true especially for Russia where management and businessmen communication exists on the very basic level of emails.

These systems are very rough and usually don?t take into account the real needs of your clients and/or branches. For example, if one of your branches doesn?t have a particular product right now that doesn?t mean it really needs that product. Only your branch/client itself can give you demand for the particular product adjusted for local features and in real time. The available Corporate Systems don?t possess such resources, and update of an assortment occurs only taking into account some “basic price-list” despite the fact that there is no need for some products included in that price-list. Such incomplete system leads to the situation in which there are no goods available that are popular for the particular city or town whereas there are thousands of non-popular products left in stock.

About our ?new? Corporate System

Our new corporate system provides for assortment language of communication between the users. That is, your client can place ?an order for goods? (for example, 1,000 positions) on the price-list of your ?basic warehouse? (for example, 10,000 positions) by making one click and spending only about 0.1 seconds (the one tenth of a second). Or your client can place an order on the price-lists of 10 of your warehouses, which were selected by your client (or your branch) itself, each of them are composed of 10,000 positions. That is, for 0.1 seconds (and with one click) the client will receive the required assortment that is selected from your different warehouses in the best way (1000 positions if they are in stock at the moment). This is the only way an idea of “working in real time” takes place. Your client/branch can hereupon order (and pay for) selected goods. Of course there is a concept of arrival date of goods in our system. Client can order (and pay for) not only ?real? but also ?expected” goods if the arrival date and the corresponding price are acceptable (for ?expected? goods the discounts are applicable). So there is a convenient way for you to work only with prepaid order.

Unlike “Axapta” and “SAP”, the new corporate system was created with a direct participation and under a permanent control of “leading businessmen”. That is, the whole interface of the new corporate system is written in a very simple businessmen language. It is easy-to-use program especially for people with no Internet skills except for usage of email accounts. Just imagine that every single client and/or businessman (with no exceptions or excuses) can easily use this system in any city/town of Russia in real time. And there is no need for an additional ?programmer-interpreter?, the most harmful person, who most of the time aggravate a situation by misinterpretation.

In our new system we lay the foundation of maximum of “commercial brains” and also a lot of helpful tips. Therefore even a businessman-beginner (or your distant client) could easily work with it and pretty soon would become a professional. That is, we minimized your dependence on human factor, which is very important issue, especially for the large companies.
The system allows you minimize the commercial risks because it takes into account real needs of your clients and branches. And by the way, the concept of date when goods are required is also considered. You can actually plan and optimize the delivery of the goods to your clients.
Due to a momentary assortment comparison, particularly between your price-lists and the price-lists of your competitors, you can optimize the prices and regulate the delivery of goods (only applicable for Moscow and Russia regions).
In the new system there are many other important features available. For example, we have an internal email service, which works pretty fast and have virus protection. Our system allows the brand manufacturers fully supervise and control price wars between the clients from central office, etc.
To show the ability of our new Corporate System, about 4 to 5 hours are required. Everyone who saw the system including the large-size companies and the brand manufactures have estimated its huge potential. We need about 3 to 10 month to revise and adjust the system for a particular electronics company.
At present time the system is written for household appliances and electronics market. Basically, it could be modified for any other product such as foodstuffs, drugs; cosmetics, etc (allow 3-12 months for an alteration).
The system can be joined with any accounting or commercial system. In general, it isn?t difficult to build in our system any accounts department.

Our new Commercial Corporate System was tested on 1,000 clients and branches with the overall assortment of one million positions. P-4 server with two processors was used for testing (total cost of $10,000). But it is surely possible to increase capacity of the system by the addition of servers and by other improvements.
The system (database) was written using Oracle. It is possible, though, to rewrite it using any other program language (for example, using a language that is in competition
with Oracle). Under my supervision, it would take approximately 4 months. At the same time, it would retain all its unique opportunities, the external and internal interfaces which are simple and clear for businessmen, all the manuals and instructions. It is also possible to rewrite the design of the system using any language available at this time.

Sincerely yours,

Dear Pavel!
According to brief description of your system, we think that its functioning is the same that the functioning our sub-system Oracle E-Business Suite ? iStore. According to the corporate rules we cannot take part in promotion of a product, which is supposed to be our formal competitor.
Respectfully,
Angrey Drughinin

Reply to Oracle 15.06.05

Dear Sirs! It would be a great honor to me being even formal competitor of Oracle. Nevertheless, the functioning of my system cannot be the same as the functioning of your sub-system, because they were invented for different kinds of users. My system is made for BUSINESSMEN, and your system (?SAP?, ?Columbus? as well) is made for PROGRAMMERS. And it cannot be adjusted for businessmen.
The IDEAL corporate system should help tens and thousands of your BUSINESSMEN being engaged in commerce. That means they should be able to make urgent decisions about sale and purchase so, that their company could get maximum profits, have minimum risks and losses.
No programmers should be involved in this. They will be disturbing businessmen and prevent them from working productively. That is why my system is made so, that businessmen could use it almost by themselves. (It is supported and served by 5 programmers only from the central office).

Your system is absolutely different. You?ve replaced businessmen by the programmers, who do not know commerce at all. That is why you?ve made a kind of ?PSEUDOCOMMERCE? for programmers at the level of elementary bookkeeping (sales analysis). It has many disadvantages
(It doesn?t consider bargainsale, for instance). And your system requires much more programmers to support it then businessmen to be used by. It is not able to help your clients to be engaged in commerce.
By the way, most of businessmen and heads of the companies (the former businessmen) do not like and understand programmers (prevent from working).

Nevertheless, I?m interested in your sub-system Oracle E-Business Suite ? iStore and I would like to watch it. I hope you will demonstrate its possibilities to me. I?m ready to come and see it any time.

Please visit http://pavel.ubicon.ru/ or detailed comparative description of my system.

?According to brief description of your system, we think that its functioning is the same as the functioning of our sub-system Oracle E-Business Suite ? iStore?.? (Quoted out of the reply from Oracle)
There is a great difference between the terms ?TO POSSESS INFORMATION? and ?TO USE THE INFORMATION, YOU POSSESS?. This difference is obvious for businessmen and for the management. The programmers do not see it. The task of a programmer (Oracle, SAP, and Columbus) is to provide you with the maximum amount of information. It doesn?t matter that you don?t need most of it. They do not care how you will be processing this information. They do not know that the information is to be filtered and compared to other information (like various pricelists and brands for example). And you should be able to compare it as fast as possible, because you?ve got a great amount of consumers and suppliers.
Finally, the businessmen have to pick the needed information up manually. And they have to compare the assortment manually ? one item by one - which takes a lot of time. (When starting Axapta in ?Technosila? it didn?t contain any filters at all). This problem is common for all the developers of corporate systems, where all the staff consists of programmers and there are no businessmen to consult them. (including SAP, Oracle, Columbus). This is an irretrievable mistake.

The businessman should be able to obtain minimum of information about the state of the market, which should be short and valuable. It will help a businessman to make the most effective decisions (maximum profits with minimum risks and losses). This should be provided by your corporate system. And this is already provided by my corporate system. I am a businessman and I provided it with maximum of commercial possibilities forward.

That is why neither of the programmers from SAP, Oracle or Columbus will be able to make a similar system. But they will be able to copy it (if we have a deal).

What about the sub-system Oracle E-Business Suite ? iStore? That is a pure VIRTUAL programmer?s meccano. Unlike my system, it cannot be visually demonstrated to a businessman or a manager. In theory, it allows to hold many e-shops and obtain a big amount of information. But it has no idea about how to process this information (this option is not provided by the programmers). It is IMPOSSIBLE to add any commercial possibilities to these meccanos. (Technosila and Eldorado are still trying). So it happens that all the required information goes directly to the garbage. It can?t be used without processing, and the processing is not provided by the programmers.

Please visit http://pavel.ubicon.ru/ or detailed comparative description of my system.

?Programmers? WILL TRANSLATE the book (or specification) you’ve written into a computer language and nothing more. ?Designers? are also nothing but ?PROGRAMMERS?. You should provide them with a “book” (or your corporate system in the format of specification) you’ve written, and this book they will translate into the computer language. It could be a text with pictures or, better, a finished (software) corporate system that they could copy under your guidance. Programmers cannot write (or develop) books and corporate systems on their own because they have no idea of structure and specifics of your market. At that, you should exercise a hands-on control of them so that their translation into the computer language was good and understandable for your businessmen.
To write (develop) your book (corporate system) is the job of your market expert only. I wrote my system myself (considering the feedback of expert businessmen) and then brilliant programmers programmed that under my supervision. Therefore it is very simple for our BUSINESSMEN (and management) and needs no assistance from translator/programmer - as opposed to systems like ?Sap? or ?Axapta? that will require a translator/programmer to assist your each (!!!) businessman (due to incomprehensible program interface), what SIGNIFICANTLY hampers the work and makes it MUCH MORE expensive.
The sales analysis is a very CRUDE way to maintain the product range of your shops. Moreover, it cannot discern between their ACTUAL DEMAND and FACTITIOUS DEMAND.
The sales analysis will record JUST the fact of sale but it can’t account for product “SALES CONDITIONS” the shop has applied. From time to time the shops have to LIQUIDATE their unmarketable inventories at UNPROFITABLE prices thus creating the FACTITIOUS DEMAND for the products that nobody needs. This is an ABSOLUTELY UNPROFITABLE tactics and it by no means concerns the ACTUAL DEMAND. But for the sales analysis the priority is the very fact of sale, it can’t know that this sale is UNPROFITABLE and thus you will supplement your stock inventories with “designedly unprofitable products”.
The ACTUAL DEMAND of your shop considering all its sales can be evaluated only by a Businessman that is on the spot and know WHAT PRODUCT IS NOT NEEDED (or what he actually needs and when). To achieve that, your corporate system should have a simple and comprehensible (for businessmen) program interface so that the businessmen could easily operate it themselves, submit and edit their product orders in real time and needed no help from programmers. All businessmen are novice users and they can’t work with complicated program interfaces (like ?Axapta? or ?Sap?).
In my corporate system, the sales analysis is doubled through the product order that can be updated by any of your businessman in real time (accessible through passwords); individual order for each shop. With this, my program interface is created specifically for novice users (businessmen and management) and is comprehensible for any businessman.
The systems like ?Sap? and ?Axapta? has just the sales analysis without any product orders (the shops can’t vote and everything is planned through the sales analysis). They can’t cope with (unprofitable) FACTITIOUS DEMAND.

With best regards,

Dear Sirs! The market has changed greatly for the last few years. The easiness and accessibility of the information in Internet has influenced the tastes of (poor) RETAIL customers in our country greatly. You go to ?Yandex?, fill in the desired goods title or a model and get a list of the sellers, who have elementary e-shops, and you also get prices for their goods. About fifty percent of customers use Internet for choosing the best (the cheapest) goods. This number will be growing . After they?ve made the decision, they go to the chosen seller to buy the good by themselves. Almost nobody makes payment though Internet due to total mistrust.

The ?bookkeeping? corporate system (SAP), your company works at, was developed in 1970-1980 together with it ?bookkeeping? analogues ?Columbus? and ?Oracle? when there was no Internet at all. It has outdated morally and it prevents you and you company from the most effective usage of the contemporary market structure.
The retail customers have become smart. They know that if the seller doesn?t tell the price for the good, it means he conceals big and uncompetitive prices (despite the attractive and expensive ads). And he would better go to another seller, who will have the lowest prices but have no name.

My ?commercial? corporate system is the only which can provide you and your filiations with most productive usage of Internet and all the other commercial constituents of contemporary market.

My ?commercial? corporate system is the only which creates and maintains 1000 and even more on-line e-shop of your filiations in various towns. Certainly, all of them contain full-functioning on-line renewed pricelists. It is very easy to work with such e-shops ? the software is self-updating and doesn?t require any programmers to support it in the filiations. Your task is to process the incoming applications or questions from the customers ? all the rest is done by the system itself. All the price policies are allowed. You can set up uniform prices from the central office, for example, or allow the authorized person to counterchange them according to the access rights protected by the password. Particle centralized price correction is also allowed ? the other parts can be changes locally as well.

My system needs just 4-6 programmers in the central office to provide its maintenance. It has wide range of possibilities and prospects. It uses a simple interface the businessmen can easily cope with. That?s why it doesn?t require programmers in filiations to support it.
There are a lot of unique commercial opportunities, besides e-shops, necessary for the best functioning of your business in the contemporary market. (It was proved by many businessmen, who saw it)

I am eager to meet you and answer all the questions. Please, do not try to ask your IT-staff about me. There is a big chance to get wrong information. My system is developed smart and it doesn?t depend on particular programmers ? you may change the staff once a week if you like. That is achieved by simple technical and user interfaces (All the system is easy and transparent for the businessman).

On the contrary, sophisticated perplexed interface of popular ?bookkeeping? systems (SAP, Oracle or Axapta), which is to be ?improved?, causes the total dependence upon ordinary programmers.

Please visit http://pavel.ubicon.ru/ or detailed comparative description of my system.

Yours respectfully, Pavel Karpov (general director and the developer of http://www.technobazar.ru/ ) (tel. 985 766 67 87)

Despite the phrase, spoken out by the management of ?Technosila? and other big companies ?We do not need Internet?, it has changed the Russian market in the core of it. Russian RETAIL CUSTOMERS like the easiness and accessibility of the information in Internet. And they choose the best supplier in the Internet before the purchase. About 50 percent of retail consumers use Internet in their choice of a good or a seller. That?s why competition in the market has become more difficult. You should not mix up the terms ?to obtain the information about the good? and ?to purchase goods by Internet? ? which almost never occurs in Russia due to total mistrust of people. That?s why the customer gets into the Internet or asks his contacts to do this, obtains the address of the seller and goes to purchase the good.
So, the Internet has become a very important REAL (not virtual) part of Russian market. And it should be considered and used in your corporate system for negotiating your RETAIL and WHOLESALE clients at most. My corporate system works with the Internet in the most effective and careful way.
?Bookkeeping? Corporate systems such as ?SAP?, ?Oracle? or ?Axapta? were developed in 70-ties, when the Internet didn?t exist yet. And they are still trying to avoid using it according to its insecurity as they explain (this is absurd). They still don?t understand that the market has changed. They are trying to attach their old morally outdated systems (without Internet) to the contemporary market (with Internet). What really happens is that they (the programmers) are trying to invent the VIRTUAL (not real) ?state? and sell it to you. Certainly, there is no any ?program miracle?, but there is an old and outdated system.
What?s the way, you are going to communicate with your retail and wholesale clients? Either by Internet or in the old way (fax, e-mail ? the information, you cannot process). That is the defining item in making choice about which corporate system to use.

Actually, my commertial system is not a competitor to modern bookkeeping systems, developed by ?Sap?, ?Columbus? and ?Oracle?. I am a businessman and I developed my system as a complete COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE (real market, maximal profits, minimal losses and risks). It is absolutely independent and can be used as an addition (superstructure) to any contemporary bookkeeping system (like ones mentioned above).

There are plenty of such systems in the market, but there is no actual difference between them. They differ mostly by price and advertising (like ?Herbalife? and its analogues).
There is one important detail: neither of these systems has anything in common with REAL MARKET (real competitors, real customers, real prices etc.). And neither of them considers MOMENTOUS COMMERTIAL RISKS (such as terrorist attacks or weather cataclysms).

Programmers (including your IT-specialists) do not understand in commerce. And they do not have to. Their task is to TRANSLATE some texts to the language of a computer. They are like your INTERPRETERS to FORIEGN language. How can you trust them with composing technical requirement for the development of your corporate system??? I think, they will suggest you buying an existing bookkeeping system. Probably, they will choose the most expensive one. (Bribes may be reasons for that).
Unfortunately, ?SAP?, ?Columbus? and others are selling not an ?existing bookkeeping system?, but an UNFINISHED GOOD, which is to be smartly attached to your structure.

?Technosila? met great difficulties, having trusted the programmers with doing it. They lost 500 positions of commodity classifier, which was the foundation of corporate system. They know nothing about the market and the good, you are selling. Their thoughts are pure theory.
So finally, it was me, who had to reconstruct the commodity classifier for ?Technosila? (for money, of course). Concerning my system, the classifier was made by me also. Nevertheless, ?Technosila? continued having troubles. They couldn?t achieve the uniqueness of the items in the database and many other necessary things. They couldn?t even start the simple bookkeeping system ?Axapta? up properly. However, the advertising tells us the ?Technosila? story in bright colors (the web page is also available), the same as the successful story of Microsoft or ?Herbalife? ads. What is the real quantity of such failures? Please, don?t trust the ads.

I am sure that my Commercial system will be a perfect addition to any bookkeeping systems (like those, mentioned above), and make them competitive in the market. I am also sure that the developers themselves are unable to make their bookkeeping systems commercial. They do not have specialists of such level. They have ordinary programmers, who understand nothing in commerce. Thanks god, the market grew and the time of simple systems passed.

I keep on looking for the partner for promoting my unique commercial corporate system.

Please visit http://pavel.ubicon.ru/ or detailed comparative description of my system.

(not personal, matches any company)
Dear Sirs!
You are now making the same mistake that was made by the presidents of ?Technosila? and ?Eldorado?.
Your corporate system is the FOUNDATION (the Skeleton) of your further commercial relationships with the clients, not on the contrary. The system will be defining and restricting your relationships with the clients. All the negotiations between you will be going through it also. And all the most precise real-time demands for your goods of your customers should also be defined through your corporate system. If your partners start feeling ?BAD? on this step, then you will not have any good business, and your clients will flow away to your competitors.
Such systems as ?Sap?, ?Axapta? or ?Oracle? rob your clients of any right of choice. Everything starts being solved by ?somebody? in the office instead. It looks like you?ve gagged your client, stopped up his ears, tied up his eyes with a cloth and ask him how he is. And he is very-very BAD, because he has to WORK WITH YOUR COMPANY by rules, he doesn?t understand.
These systems were developed in 70-ties, when there were no Internet and no powerful computers at all. These systems have already outdated morally, and are still being purchased either by companies with incompetent management or for a huge bribe.
The DELIVERY FORECAST in these systems, for example, is made according to the BOOKKEEPER REPORTS (sales analysis) only. That is the most BAD and inexact forecast. Almost every student, who understands statistics, can compose the recalculating formula.
These systems are really very ?cheap?. You are STUFFING your client with unnecessary goods, fill the storehouses. As a result, you yourself break the market and prices.
Thanks god, these systems cost too much. But the mistakes, that you will make using them, cost much more. I will wait while your money finish. You will apply to me then. I am much more authoritative then your programmers and administrators ? they like to play a ?whipping boy?.
I know the price for my good, and I will wait while the market grows up to it.
My system allows every businessman feel GOOD even if that is the first time he is working with a computer. Almost every client gets his own e-shop, where he can buy your goods and sell them in the market. Here you have the easiest interface (with useful instructions and hints) through which you are conducting your e-shop. All the e-shop support, as well as its pricelist control and order for the goods are carried out through the office. The order for the goods, composed by the client at his place is the most PRECISE demand for your good of your partner. The deliveries are formed according to the confirmed orders for the goods.
So, my system makes the businessman feel comfortable as if he is in VIP-apartment. All the businessmen, who tried my system, are in a great delight. Only using my system, you?ll be able to be engaged in real commerce, earn MAXIMAL profits with MINIMAL losses and risks.
Please, visit my web page for more detailed information

(not personal, matches any company)
Of course, it?s advantageous and much easier for me to sell my system as an addition to a popular and already promoted product. So, my system is a perfect reputable ?commercial addition? to your modern, but more ?bookkeeping? developments. That is not coincidence. I?ve made that for purpose. Commerce should consider all the features of naturally huge Russian market, and getting maximal profits with minimal losses and risks. Commercial system is much more sophisticated then a bookkeeping one. You should also take into account that INTERNET influences the market and a consumer greatly, and you have to take this into consideration (poor profit, too many competitors etc.) Of course, my system uses Internet largely and carefully at the same time (its own mail service without viruses etc.). I?m sure that neither of you, ?SAP?, ?Columbus? and others have developers, who can make something similar. I?ve spent 2 years to produce that.
I am commercially authoritative in the market and management respects me a lot. But I CAN NOT SELL MYSELF. That is why I?ve suggested many companies including ?Oracle?, ?Sap?, ?Columbus?, ?Kvazar-micro?, and ?RBK? making partnership. And I?m waiting for the answer now.
I am sure (and I?m not alone) that the mix of my contemporary ?commercial? system and your contemporary ?bookkeeping? system will be much more competitive then popular pure-bookkeeping systems such as ?Sap?, ?Columbus? etc. By now, all the ?bookkeeping? systems have morally outdated and are similar. Now it?s not only me, who thinks so.
The company, who will become my competitor, will face a lot of difficulties. I know much; I can speak and write; I can prove the management and the businessmen my point of view. Soon my articles will appear in public press. They are non-official by now.
You can find brief description of my system on http://pavel.ubicon.ru/ in the end; it is called ABOUT NEW CORPORATE SYSTEM (SUMMARY).
Some of frequently asked questions were put by one of the ?Svyaznoy? specialists.
I will quote one here.

QUESTION: ?….Dear Pavel, I have read everything, you sent me. This information repeats the content of your site. Before we meet each other I would like to get acquainted with more detailed description of your system ? those exact 80 pages, where all the unique possibilities of your system are described in a simple language, that an ordinary businessman can understand.
?	Best regards. Victor Aryushin.?

ANSWER: ?….Dear Victor. You seem to have misunderstood; I have 80 html-pages (2000 source pages of script) of already working site (system in Internet). I can demonstrate this to you and your management for 4-5 hours. Last I showed it to CBOSS. What?s the use of reading the script of Harry Potter, if you can watch the movie itself? So, I have a kind of that movie (4-5 hours). If you like it, you can specify all the technical details; I?ll answer all the questions with great pleasure. Internet is also a kind of cinema, where you can ?watch? a complete working system as a movie. I doubt that ?Sap?, ?Columbus? or ?Oracle? can offer you something similar. They do not have anything complete ? only semi finished items. And they will suggest you composing TT for writing this half-built system up further. Believe me, the best TT is a complete working site, that you will little bit adjust to yourself. Best regards, Pavel Karpov.?

So, there is an absolutely complete and working site, which has been tested for 1000 independent organizations, where total assortment was about 1.000.000 items ? and these numbers are very far from the limit. My site has been working in Internet for 6 month, serving real wholesaling and retail companies. I put a common Pentium-4 computer instead of a powerful server there. And the system continued working very fast even like that (CBOSS, who saw that, were impressed). So, I have to wait while the market grows and ?Technosila? and others would resurrect after facing ?Axapta? and after the time, when they didn?t want to hear anything, about Internet.

My site is considered to be used by 1000 various organizations (pricelists and orders for goods, renewed real time). And it can be easily modified in a commercial corporate system for one company. Every organization, which uses my system, can open any important quantity of entries for its filiations. So, we open 1000 entries for virtual filiations of our organization in my site and start using it as a corporate system for one organization. That is how it can be used as a single-organization commercial system.
Certainly, all the real-time pricelists of your suppliers as well as your competitors are included. There is also unique search system, which allows users to operate the data fast and easily.
Due to unique ADMINISTRATIVE interface (which is already finished, and easily can be used by businessmen and management) my system can be adjusted to the needs of absolutely different companies.
It is unusual and preternaturally to represent my system in the European office, passing by the representatives in Russia. If you are interested in me and my development, I think, it would be faster and easier, if you introduce me to your colleges in the European office. All of my articles are already available in English.
I?m eager to meet you.
Please visit http://pavel.ubicon.ru/ for more detailed description of my system in Russian and in English as well.

Of course, there is an implementation. While I was working for ?Technosila? for a year, I created two specifications of the system. The first one was developed as an independent Internet-portal for a large amount of different consumers and suppliers from all over Russia. The second one was a certain commercial corporate system for ?Technosila? itself, its 40 retail shops and 500 wholesale customers in the regions. What I?ve made is a universal project, which can be at once used as an Internet-portal for 1000 various companies on one hand and a corporate system especially for ?Technosila? on the other hand.
But ?Technosila? management was advised to buy a unique system ?Axapta?, which was supposed to do bookkeeping. It also was supposed to do all the things, my system did. Unfortunately, the presidents of the company believed that (due to incompetence), but they couldn?t make the system work properly. Even bookkeeping didn?t start working fully. So what?s the use speaking about commerce? Certainly, it failed.
What about my system ? I had almost finished development by that time. I had just to make nice design and arrange the instructions. Everything was done.
Taking into consideration the virtual incompetence of the ?Technosila? management, I had to demonstrate it to Mr. Vladimir Levchenko ? the former general director of ?Technosila?. He was so impressed by the possibilities of my system after testing it, that he even prophesied the Nobel Prize for that. He didn?t understand why I had departed with ?Technosila?.
Now Mr. Levchenko is the general director of ?Sitronix? corporation, which is the biggest producer of techniques in Russia. I talked to him again few days ago. He still remembers me. So this Thursday I?m invited to offer ?Sitronix? my ideas and proposals. As soon as the holidays pass, I will meet the management of ?Kvazar-micro? ? one of the biggest development companies in Russia, the partner of ?Sitronix?. I have many agreements with other famous companies also.
I started the real advertising 3 weeks ago. All of the presidents of large companies are businessmen, not programmers, and they know very well what is to risk their funds. That is why all of them are eager to meet me and get acquainted with the system.
Having left ?Technosila? I continued developing my project together with the former shareholder of ?Mir?. The system had been successfully working in the role of ?Russian internet-portal? for 6 months. It still contains real prices of real retail and wholesale companies. It has been fully tested in the Russian market, but didn?t earn money and make profit. That is why I decided to freeze the project up till the market grew and became ready to accept it. Now the market is ready, and I started advertising.
Actually, I do not need anybody for my system to start up. I may need programmers for adjusting it to particular needs of particular clients only. Everything is already complete. Every company that has bought ?bookkeeping system? such as ?Sap?, ?Columbus? or ?Oracle? is my prospective client.
Please, visit my web page for more detailed information

Dear sirs! In Russia you are exposed to the risks against which you can not insure your warehouse (in particular, against terrorists). Actually it means dependence on any (”hurt”) layman (the lawlessness country). Apart from that (in Russia) you can not also be insured against “customs officer” etc. (In West everybody is insured). So it is possible to MINIMIZE THE RISKS in Russia in two ways:
FIRSTLY, your warehouses in Russia shall be “EMPTY”. Your products shall not be in them for a long time (the delivered products shall be distributed at once). You shall ensure actual demands of your shops and wholesale buyers with MAXIMUM ACCURACY (delivery quantity and time). It is possible only if EVERY your shop or “wholesale client” can EXECUTE and AT ANY TIME CORRECT (in accordance with weather etc. regional commercial conditions) its “ORDER” on your “corporate system”. On the basis of these “orders” your “office” shall (and CAN) plan THE MOST OPTIMAL “movement of your products” (to avoid reserve in your warehouses in Russia).
Only in my system everything works and all deliveries (to Russia) are planned, primarily, on the basis of “order” from your shops and clients (that have been at most corrected by them with the consideration of actual commercial situation in the provinces). Only in this way it is possible to AT MOST MAXIMIZE your deliveries of products (minimum of your products in Russian warehouses).

“SALES ANALYSIS” is very SIMPLE and, therefore, THE RUDEST way to support assortment in your shops. This averaged analysis results in the situation when you have to jam your warehouses FOR A YEAR IN ADVANCE. It takes into account only the fact of “sale” of products and it does not take into account the CLEARANCE SALES (and other peculiarities) so you will order a lot of DISTRESS products (etc).
The corporate systems like “Axapta” (Columbus) or “Sap” are based on ONLY on such “SALES ANALYSIS”. They do not have the notion “ORDER” at all from your shops and wholesale clients (and it is virtually impossible to “add” them there). All of your shops and clients can do nothing and they do not have the vote at all. For them everything is decided in the office ob the basis of “sales analysis”. As a result you not only jam warehouses with “distress” products but IN FULL YOU EXPOSE YOURSELVES (your warehouses are jammed with your products) TO NONINSURED (in Russia) RISKS (of terrorists, customs officers etc).

SECONDLY, it is necessary to use “STRANGE PRODUCTS” at most in Russia and to shift risks to OTHER (large and middle) companies. In Russia there is “SECONDARY MARKET” to which in particular, “a lot of good and marketable products get” (”for free” for consignment) by the same large retail companies (as surpluses). For example, if the forms “Mvideo” or “Technosila” (and others) have to jam their warehouses and at most expose themselves to RISKS that are not insured in Russia (of terrorists, custom officers etc) in any case, when taking (for consignment and for good prices) their products you TRANSFER THE MOST SERIOUS YOUR RISKS TO THEM.
Apart from that, in Russia there are dozens of good wholesale and retail firms (large and middle) that also have to supply “good products” to Russia and to at most expose themselves to NONINSURED RISKS (it an everlasting situation). The are forced to risk in order to remain in the market. Also, it is desirable to make the most of their products (for consignment) shifting ALL RISKS to them.
Daily all large companies exchange wholesale price-lists (hundreds and thousands positions). But each company has price-lists in different formats. Your businessmen have to assess strange price-lists MANUALLY MODEL BY MODEL. It take very long time and it is very inconveniently (the strange price-list assortment is altered). So actually MANUALLY nobody can treat price-lists of “strange firms” and they are just DISMISSED.
To use “the secondary Russian market” it is necessary to fully AUTOMATE and in a very convenient format (YOURS) to have opportunity to AUTOMATICALLY and VERY RAPIDLY to do MODEL BY MODEL comparison of your “order” to “STRANGE” price-lists. Only in this way it is possible to chose assortment required by you for the best prices from different “strange” companies (of the Russian secondary market).
All of that works in my “corporate system” in this way. For each “strange” company the program of “correspondence of price-lists” (classifiers) is written once and then a strange price-list is transferred to MY format and renewed very rapidly (for seconds). Then it cam analyzed (filter) very rapidly and utterly efficiently and to make orders from “strange firms”. Two usual programmers are enough to load and renew price-lists of “strange firms” (of the secondary market) (dozens of firms) in real time. (To support all my corporate system from 4 to 6 usual programmers are required).

In the systems like “Axapta” or “Sap” the “secondary market” is not provided at all. Here availability (and treatment) of “strange” price-lists is impossible here. You are proposed to do it manually, model by model, what is sensless. Here you are exposed to ALL possible, very serious Russian RISKS at most.

Yours respectfully Pavel Karpov (the general manager and the developer of the site www.technobazar.ru)

In any business it is desirable to receive MAXIMUM PROFIT with MINIMUM RISKS. To hold a warehouse that is NOT INSURED (against terrorists) and jammed with your products in Russia is very high risks. Daily you risk losing profit earned for several years.
In the West (Germany, Finland etc) your warehouses are insured against everything (including terrorists). So, of course, in your warehouses in Russia there shall be as LITTLE as possible YOUR PRODUCTS.

Because our population became very poor 80 percent of population do not go to shops and prefer to do shopping in markets (Gorbushka etc.). This way, we will have SECONDARY MARKET for minimum 10 years.
The majority of products are delivered by famous large retail (and wholesale companies) to those SECONDARY MARKETS. The overwhelming majority of products (very many) is distributed for “good prices”, “FOR FREE” (for selling) to middle and small marker traders.
The large “retail companies” permanently need “tradable” assortment. Any “large retail company” is interested in taking for “good prices”, “FOR FREE” (for selling) the assortment that it urgently requires from another “large retail company” that has abundance of it. Apart from that all RISKS are imposed on “the product owner” (actually your competitor).

If you can do the control and the very fast and competent treatment of price-lists (of warehouses) of your competitors in Moscow and other cities of Russia in real time you can support assortment of your shops (in any city) IN OPTIMAL WAY with MINIMUM RISKS and MINIMUM EXPENSES (shifting risks and expenses to your competitors).
The “competitor” assortments are LARGE and they are changed “IN REAL TIME”. So they can be linked to the ACTUAL DEMAND of your shops (in real time) only by good “program product” that is linked (in real time) to your shops assortment and to your “Corporate system”. In West there is not “secondary market”. So in their “Corporate system” (like “Sap”, “Axapta” and others) the secondary market did not exist at all and it is IMPOSSIBLE to “fasten” it to them (regardless of promises). So you can not use “free” products and your competitor risks and you had to hold your back at most.
The companies “Eldorado” (Sap), “Mvideo”, “Technosila” (Axapta) “Mir” (and others) do not have program product that is able to competently use (free) products and risks (of competitors) of the Russian “secondary market”. Daily they exchange their price-lists (each in its own format) but they can not bring them into its format (of its corporate system) for quick treatment and competent use for itself. It is impossible to “MANUALLY” treat price lists for thousand items (all of them do the trying) and they can not automate the process AT ALL.

Only in my “Corporate system” there are at most used the opportunities of the Russian Secondary Market (including warehouses of competitors or suppliers in Germany, Finland etc). The competitor price-lists (from any format) are at once and rapidly downloaded to OUR format and in real time (also rapidly) are renewed. Only in this way they can be rapidly and competently treated, linked to the demands (orders) of your shops and taken (”for free” from competitors).

“Very complicated program interface. Can’t train the regional businessmen to work with ?Sap?” (acc. to a former ?Eldorado? administrators).
PROGRAMMERS use their own language (advanced Internet users’ language) that is very similar to LATIN in its incomprehensibility to a plain Russian businessman or company managers. None businessman and manager (me included) actually CAN’T UNDERSTAND what they mean by saying “?the most advanced solutions based on ERP, CRM, E-business and other technologies” (quoted from ?Columbus? website). But they all are afraid to display their IGNORANCE to others. Thus ?Tekhnosila? and other large companies ordered the things that sounded nice (like Latin) but none knew what they were.
In fact, in this context it means a modern ACCOUNTING SYSTEM involving some elements of the SIMPLEST STATISTICS. Analysis of any COMPLETED transactions (like sales analysis) is called just mere STATISTICS (not ERP, CRM, etc.). So, such “statistics” is good for REPORTS (accounting) but is bad for FORECASTS. For businessmen this is the “crudest” and “bluntest” forecast that cannot account for local changes in commercial conditions, sales, competitors and very serious Russian RISKS. However, for programmers (Columbus) it is the SIMPLEST “universal” product, the simplest and cheapest programming, the simplest and cheapest support, But that’s the only thing that just PROGRAMMERS can do well being unaware of the Russian market, details of Russian COMMERCE or country-specific RISKS. According to my personal experience, ?Columbus? (and ?Sap?) does not have any (Russian) “businessmen”. There are just programmers, administrators and accountants. THEY do not know the structure of the Russian market and therefore can’t make any serious improvements even if they really wanted (actually, they do not even know what shall be included in your price list, not to mention the market structure). Programmers are just TRANSLATORS, they need a finished system and they will just translate it into the “Internet language” under your guidance.
The BUSINESSMEN know the structure of the REAL market structure. It is VERY SIMPLE and comprehensible; it consists of price lists and ?product orders? updated in real time. It also includes purchasers, shops, warehouses, vendors, and competitors. If you need the most exact information on what your shop needs (today, tomorrow, next month, etc), just ASK IT. I mean, let your purchaser, shop or warehouse included in your system, submit and edit their “PRODUCT ORDER” in real time ? and that will be your most exact FORECAST considering all local risks, commercial conditions, sales, etc (that’s clear for any businessman and manager). Before shipping the products from Moscow to Khabarovsk, you will take the Khabarovsk prices of your COMPETITORS, compare them to your Moscow prices and add the shipping costs. Again, considering the COMPETITORS’ prices in Khabarovsk, you can determine the MAXIMUM prices to sell your products (plan your MAXIMUM PROFIT). This is simple and clear for any businessman or manager ? that’s the way MY CORPORATE SYSTEM works and that’s what it really includes. It is very friendly to BUSINESSMEN. I mean I’ve taken the maximum advantage of Internet, software and hardware (plus my vast experience) for your corporate system could maximally fit the CURRENT RUSSIAN MARKET and let you gain the MAXIMUM profit with MINIMUM (but real) RUSSIAN RISKS. The system involves the simplest and the plainest language that will be understood by any businessman. It has a great number of hints and instructions (there were hundreds of design iterations).
Systems like ?Axapta? (Columbus) and ?Sap? were developed in 1970-1980-ties, when there were no Internet and other software and hardware. That time it was technically impossible to process the data from your shops. Statistic-based supplies planning (sales analysis) remained very “crude” but that was the only thing available. Unfortunately, by now their supplies planning is based on just statistics (sales analysis) and improvements are made only to accounting. For them it is simpler and cheaper. On a hardware and software level they cannot supplement their old systems neither with product orders submission nor with processing competitors’ price lists (nor with other real market components) ? all these would require a new system. For them it’s too hard.
To understand what unawareness of market structure can bring, imagine you got appendicitis and come to hospital. The businessman that knows the market structure (or health professions like ophthalmologist or surgeon, etc.) will apply directly to a surgeon. But ?Columbus? (Sap) programmers will offer you to get your brains x-rayed, take the most advanced computers and recover from your brain the data on all your stomach problems for the last 300 years. Then they will take the proprietary, the most advanced (and expensive) and the slowest (for some reason) program to find the most fitting case. If it is your first appendicitis, most probably, you will die in pain.
The programmers do not know the structure of the Russian market nor how to treat the real RISKS. They can offer just an accounting and fortunetelling with a mere statistics. Neither can they write plainly (like me). Therefore the things in their system will be understood only by programmers but none of businessmen or managers.

Before buying a well-advertised system, ask those who have bought it about its actual opportunities. I had been working in the company “Technosila” for a year when they tried to start “Axapta”. (I was starting my project).
After starting the system “Axapta” in the company “Technosila” all businessmen (there are hundreds of them only in the office) showed their strong disapproval for it. The sense of ANY program product is to enable businessmen to PROCESS MUCH INFORMATION to receive AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE THE MOST NECESSARY AND THE MOST VALUABLE INFORMATION FOR WORK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
For that (it is not difficult if to realize for what) on your system desktops there are installed a lot of program FILTERS for various parameters, for example, “for brand”, “for price”, “for model”, for volume (for logists), for “the warehouse location”, for “type in product classifier” etc. THERE WAS NO FILTER here. And hundreds of businessmen had to HANDLE HUNDREDS OF MODELS MANUALLY EVERY TIME (from thousandth price-list and database) to find a model required. Much more time was spent and, of course, the weak system overloaded (the queue was made to work in the system). The whole Technosila laughed: Do not hinder Axapta to work.
Unfortunately, (ALL) programmers do not know how the businessmen work, of what the product model, price-list, product classifier etc. consist. They do not realize what “the most valuable information” is and how to “filter” it. Only BUSINESSMEN realize it. The company “Columbus” did not (and does not) employ any businessmen but only programmers. While writing the Technical assignment they FORGOT TO ASK technosila BUSINESSMEN (!!!) what they want. So AFTER STARTING (!!!) the system the Technosila businessmen was offered to state “BRIEFLY” what “THE MOST IMPORTANT” for them shall be added to the “WORKING” system “Axapta”. The result was A HUNDRED PAGED book (they “ARE IMPROVING” it up to now. By the way, what “Technosila” has been removed from the company “Columbus” site (www.columbus.ru), as “a honorary client” for??
But in programming such systems, serious additions (after starting) of opportunities usually finish with its full “hanging”. Your database is a table where all elements are ALREADY linked with program codes. OPPORTUNITIES addition (structure change) results in CELLS ADDITION to your database. Those cells shall be linked with program codes to all others ones very carefully, otherwise your system will “hang” or “think for a very long time” on them. It is not so simply. It is simplier to rewrite (any programmer knows about it).
While developing a system it shall be made MORE, not LESS. What I have done (to demonstrate all my system takes 4-5 hours). I know what BUSINESSMEN and MANAGEMENT (and programmer) want for optimal and convenient work with my system. I have HUNDREDS OF FILTERS for many commercial parameters enabling BUSINESSMEN and MANAGEMENT (and programmers) to work with the system extremely PRODUCTIVELY and RAPIDLY. Also I wrote hundreds of PROMPTS and INSTRUCTIONS (hundreds of iterations of the whole design were made).
As per its structure the system like “Axapta” is the SIMPLE BOOKKEEPING SYSTEM with the elements of the simplest STATISTICS (sales analysis), and absolutely WITHOUT even the simplest COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITIES. And it is utterly IMPOSSIBLE to add any commercial opportunities (regardless of their advertisement).
As per their structure the company “Sap” products are also the SIMPLE BOOKKEEPING SYSTEMS with the elements of the simplest STATISTICS (sales analysis). And it is utterly impossible to add any commercial opportunities to it. (”?So many people tried to improve it that in places it was forgotten where and what had been altered (the words of the former administrator of the Eldorado company)”).

HOW TO REDURE THE RUSSIAN RISKS ACTUALLY

About ten years ago there were large profits, turnovers and practically there was not competition. So the companies could afford “NOT TO THINK ABOUT RISKS”.
Now there are small profit and many competitors. Also there appeared “terrorists” against whom in Russia there is not insurance and FOR A DAY YOU CAN LOSE WHAT YOU HAVE EARNED FOR 10 years. In yours warehouses (in Russia) there shall be as little as possible your products.
(Firstly). For that it is necessary with maximum precision to know your shops demand linked (in real time) to the specific regional commercial conditions (weather etc). Each your shop or client in your system shall have opportunity for executing and editing (in real time) its “ORDER”. After treating them you receive THE MOST PRECISE demand of your shop and clients. (In this way my enterprise system works).
(Secondly). You shall have maximum information about your competitors. You shall have price-lists of your competitors that are also renewed in your system in real time. Only in this way you can determine MAXIMUM prices of tour product sale and not to bring distress products that will be on your warehouse for a long time. Apart from that, for your shops you can take “good” products of your competitors transferring all risks to them. (In this way my enterprise system works). Actually you can have MAXIMUM PROFIT with MINIMUM RISK.
The companies “Columbus” (Axapta) and “Sap” were created in 1970-1980th when the Internet and powerful computers (cheap) did mot exist. Their “bookkeeping” systems ARE NOT LINKED TO THE EXTERNAL WORLD ALTOGETHER. Instead of “BUYER” they have “the fact of product sale”. “The demand of products” is formed only on the basis of these “facts of sale”. It is a very rude “demand” that is averaged and not linked to the changed commercial conditions, clearance sales etc. It results in jamming the warehouse with the products for several months.
It is utterly impossible to put any “orders” here. There are not any competitors and it is utterly impossible to treat their price-lists. Instead of them the computer has in some way (I do not realize in what??) to determine selling prices (usually the least profitable).
As a result you are forced to sell products not for optimal prices, to jam warehouses illiquid assets and at most to expose yourself to all various RISKS (terrorists, customs officers, weather etc.).
Of course the company “Sap” and the company “Columbus” (Axapta) are aware of my project (finished) and the questions I ask them. I proposed cooperation to them. But until now they can not answer me. You can ask them the same questions. As per difficulty creation of such large system ban be compared to writing the novel “War and Peace” by Leo Tolstoy, full correspondence of all pages and texts plus enormous experience and market knowledge.
Even 100 programmers can not do it.
