ABOUT RISKS (TO THE COMPANY “SERVICE PLUS”) 14.02.05
Dear sirs! In Russia you are exposed to the risks against which you can not insure your warehouse (in particular, against terrorists). Actually it means dependence on any (”hurt”) layman (the lawlessness country). Apart from that (in Russia) you can not also be insured against “customs officer” etc. (In West everybody is insured). So it is possible to MINIMIZE THE RISKS in Russia in two ways:
FIRSTLY, your warehouses in Russia shall be “EMPTY”. Your products shall not be in them for a long time (the delivered products shall be distributed at once). You shall ensure actual demands of your shops and wholesale buyers with MAXIMUM ACCURACY (delivery quantity and time). It is possible only if EVERY your shop or “wholesale client” can EXECUTE and AT ANY TIME CORRECT (in accordance with weather etc. regional commercial conditions) its “ORDER” on your “corporate system”. On the basis of these “orders” your “office” shall (and CAN) plan THE MOST OPTIMAL “movement of your products” (to avoid reserve in your warehouses in Russia).
Only in my system everything works and all deliveries (to Russia) are planned, primarily, on the basis of “order” from your shops and clients (that have been at most corrected by them with the consideration of actual commercial situation in the provinces). Only in this way it is possible to AT MOST MAXIMIZE your deliveries of products (minimum of your products in Russian warehouses).
“SALES ANALYSIS” is very SIMPLE and, therefore, THE RUDEST way to support assortment in your shops. This averaged analysis results in the situation when you have to jam your warehouses FOR A YEAR IN ADVANCE. It takes into account only the fact of “sale” of products and it does not take into account the CLEARANCE SALES (and other peculiarities) so you will order a lot of DISTRESS products (etc).
The corporate systems like “Axapta” (Columbus) or “Sap” are based on ONLY on such “SALES ANALYSIS”. They do not have the notion “ORDER” at all from your shops and wholesale clients (and it is virtually impossible to “add” them there). All of your shops and clients can do nothing and they do not have the vote at all. For them everything is decided in the office ob the basis of “sales analysis”. As a result you not only jam warehouses with “distress” products but IN FULL YOU EXPOSE YOURSELVES (your warehouses are jammed with your products) TO NONINSURED (in Russia) RISKS (of terrorists, customs officers etc).
SECONDLY, it is necessary to use “STRANGE PRODUCTS” at most in Russia and to shift risks to OTHER (large and middle) companies. In Russia there is “SECONDARY MARKET” to which in particular, “a lot of good and marketable products get” (”for free” for consignment) by the same large retail companies (as surpluses). For example, if the forms “Mvideo” or “Technosila” (and others) have to jam their warehouses and at most expose themselves to RISKS that are not insured in Russia (of terrorists, custom officers etc) in any case, when taking (for consignment and for good prices) their products you TRANSFER THE MOST SERIOUS YOUR RISKS TO THEM.
Apart from that, in Russia there are dozens of good wholesale and retail firms (large and middle) that also have to supply “good products” to Russia and to at most expose themselves to NONINSURED RISKS (it an everlasting situation). The are forced to risk in order to remain in the market. Also, it is desirable to make the most of their products (for consignment) shifting ALL RISKS to them.
Daily all large companies exchange wholesale price-lists (hundreds and thousands positions). But each company has price-lists in different formats. Your businessmen have to assess strange price-lists MANUALLY MODEL BY MODEL. It take very long time and it is very inconveniently (the strange price-list assortment is altered). So actually MANUALLY nobody can treat price-lists of “strange firms” and they are just DISMISSED.
To use “the secondary Russian market” it is necessary to fully AUTOMATE and in a very convenient format (YOURS) to have opportunity to AUTOMATICALLY and VERY RAPIDLY to do MODEL BY MODEL comparison of your “order” to “STRANGE” price-lists. Only in this way it is possible to chose assortment required by you for the best prices from different “strange” companies (of the Russian secondary market).
All of that works in my “corporate system” in this way. For each “strange” company the program of “correspondence of price-lists” (classifiers) is written once and then a strange price-list is transferred to MY format and renewed very rapidly (for seconds). Then it cam analyzed (filter) very rapidly and utterly efficiently and to make orders from “strange firms”. Two usual programmers are enough to load and renew price-lists of “strange firms” (of the secondary market) (dozens of firms) in real time. (To support all my corporate system from 4 to 6 usual programmers are required).
In the systems like “Axapta” or “Sap” the “secondary market” is not provided at all. Here availability (and treatment) of “strange” price-lists is impossible here. You are proposed to do it manually, model by model, what is sensless. Here you are exposed to ALL possible, very serious Russian RISKS at most.
